ABOUT
The stables of the Poels family in Swolgen, the Netherlands are well-known through out the equestrian world. The sport and trading stable was founded by Ger Poels and in 2022 his daughter Aniek took over the reigns together with her partner Ken Ruysen.
Aniek Poels her showjumping career contains many highlights. Such as several Grand Prix victories, competing at CHIO Aachen and a magnificent team win in the Nations Cup of Falsterbo in 2017. Next to jumping at top level she also produces young horses up to Grand Prix level and is an avid trainer.
Ken Ruysen is well-known in the horse industry as a show organiser and as the managing director of Peelbergen Equestrian Centre in Kronenberg. Together with Aniek he manages Ruysen-Poels Stables.
ACCOMODATION
The stable of Ken and Aniek offers all modern facilities, including a large indoor and outdoor arena, grass arena, canter track, horse walker, tread mill, covered lunge pen and spacious stalls to rent for a long or short term stay. There are also several apartments available.

The Ruysen-Poels Stables are conveniently located within short driving distance from several top equestrian venues. Peelbergen Equestrian Centre can be reached within just 15 minutes, Sentower Park (BEL) within one hour and Azelhof (BEL) within one and a half hours.
